Movie reviews: Erik the Viking
A Viking by the name of Erik (Tim Robbins) discovers that he no longer has a taste for rape and pillage like the rest of his kinsfolk. Determined to change things, Erik gathers a group of fellow Vikings together to travel to Valhalla and petition the Gods to put an end to the Age of Ragnarok, bringing peace to the land once more.
As you would expect from a film from one of the Pythons, the entire thing is incredibly silly. Terry Jones is an academic on this sort of thing, so you know that the film is accurate, right down to the names of the characters. Yes, Thorfinn Skullsplitter was an actual Viking name!
